But first an farm update.
Today we did our third straight day of chipping weeds in the pumpkin fields...and mannn are my arms sore. All I wanted today was new arms to help me make it through the day. But we did it, and Ian was nice enough to let us stay in the house after lunch and do some cleaning rather than heading back to the fields for another hour or two of tackling those damn weeds.
Late afternoon after a little jaunt into town, Reece (Ian's nephew), Ian, Cammie and I went for a drive in the truck around the farm to "chase the moon" (a couple ciders in hand of course). Ian had told us there would be a full moon rising up from the horizon around 6, as the sun set.. so we waited and waited and started doubting this moon business. But by 7, there it was, the brightest yellow, round moon I've ever seen rising from above the trees. And it was fast! I wish I could have gotten a couple snaps of it, but photos just wouldn't do it justice. It was coooool azzz.
Okay so for today's creative "thing" I did a bit of reminiscing on Cam and I's epic month traveling up the northern half of the East Coast. I feel so lucky to have been able to do and see all the awesome things we did in just a few weeks, we covered a lot of ground and everyday was an adventure. I've been journaling quiet a bit throughout my 6 months here and love looking back at what I've wrote, so I feel like this little doodle will bring back those same good memories from our East Coast Journey!
Also, Cammie and I made a Farm Life Countdown Calendar ... satisfying to cross of them dayssss, weoo!
Until Tomorrow!
Peace&Love xo
