It has been a hectic week..with longer than normal work days and so last night was one of those nights that flew by and before I knew it I was passed out in my bed.
But today we're back in action..another hot one out there (36 degrees here in Bilo), plenty of watermelons were picked and packed and we actually had four new contractors come help today which made the process easier and faster for all of us.
Now to the creative bit.. this post is inspired by the lovely british gals I met in Agnes Water on our recent time away from the farm. These girls all had great style and all LOVED wearing head scarves in their hair.
I've always been a fan of silk scarves...or generally any and all vintage head scarves. I have a collection at home of beautiful patterned ones that I've picked up from thrift stores and garage sales, but never have I really tried ...wearing one. They just hang there looking pretty.. I guess I've always been unsure about how I actually would wear one and pull it off.
So, we took a trip to the one and only Op Shop in Agnes Water and I picked up a couple beauties ..I think they were two for a dollar. I ended up wearing the blue floral patterned one a lot to the beach and by the pool to keep my hair back and my head cool.
There are so many ways you can go about rocking this look..and I'm getting really into it. So as an tribute to my lovely Beachside Ladies and this 1920's inspired trend I thought today I'd post some head scarf inspiration and How-To's.
Thanks for reading xo
See ya tomorrow!
