Another weekend is upon us..we've reached day 68 which means only TWENTY more days on the farm. A glorioussss milestone.
Not much to report today..other than I lighted my hair.. with a box die..streaking kit. you know those ones you used in grade 8. yup.
Every hair dresser in the world would be shunning me at the moment if they knew or saw what I did. But this is what farm life does to you though! Seriously, you get so bored on the weekends you end up making bad beauty decisions.
It wasn't a complete disaster..but it does look a bit..well..orange.
At least I have no one to impress around here and I plan on fixing it once back in an actually city where the hairdresser isn't 80 years old and wearing a cowboy hat and overalls.
What I actually wanna do is dye it purple. Some shade of purple that I'm undecided about at the moment. Because I figure..when else am I going to be able to have purple hair in my life? I'm only getting older...and more mature ( I guess..) and soon it's just not going to be cool to have purple hair. But now is.
And i'm a backpacker. I do what I want!

I'm leaning towards this purple..it's intense but beautiful! Then again..she's freakin' gorgeous.
