I 'll cut right to the creative bit because theres nothing new and exciting to report here today..
Yesterday was our long weekend day off and we thought we'd head out to the farm for another #farmlife photoshoot (Because lets be real..theres not a whole lot else to do on a day off). It was a hot afternoon yet there was a refreshing country breeze sweeping through the wheat fields.
Peaceful indeed.
I love putting together outfits and Camille is as photogenic as they come so we make a good team. She's also super creative and has her own ideas of what makes up a good photograph - she's always super natural in front of the camera. When she's shooting me, I'm so shy and reluctant and she gives me direction and makes me feel more comfortable.
I prefer fashion photography that is natural and spontaneous rather than the hardcore "posey" stuff because I feel like they tell more of a story..they show more feeling. They are real.
I guess this reflects the style of clothing I wear as well. I'm not high fashion, I'm not "designer".. I don't own expensive shit. I appreciate worn in pieces, casual yet edgy street style, bold accessories, bad ass boots, fringe, bohemian patterns, and and mix and match of new and old. To me, all of these things are what make up a truly eclectic and interesting wardrobe... not Gucci and Prada.
There's my spiel! Now here's the outfit details.
Camille is wearing: denim overalls - JayJays // polkadot sheer tank- American Apparel // Suede Fridge Boots- Minnetonka online // Earrings & Bangles- thrifted & from cheap stores // Hat- from Ian.
I am wearing: white denim shorts - thrifted from "Salvos" noosa (once were pants) // striped, tie-up crop top - thrifted (Port Douglas Market) // headband - thrifted from "Salvos noosa // Boots - Payless shoes in Noosa Civic // Army Green button up shirt- Cotton On.
Enjoy the PHO'O's! ( northern British accent.. inside joke with some that may be reading)
Goodnight!
xo
