BUT I can't help but think of how glorious it would have been if I were at home inhaling some delicious Deb Talbot turkey dinner. Being on the other side of the world during holidays really makes you appreciate and become more thankful for what you usually have. The things that seem like a "given", The things you don't think are special..
I'm missing everyone back home extra this weekend and thinking about all of you with your lovely families around the dinner table.
On to zee "creative" part..
So I spent this evening..turkey-less and a tad homesick.. buried in my sketchbook. Thinking about the things I am most thankful for and doodling and writing them down. I came up with a top five. The first three were easy..pretty standard, but the last two took a little more thought.
I probably have a million spelling mistakes and I hope you can even read the small writing (mom, get out your glasses!) but here it is, My top five.
Happy Thanksgiving Canada!
see you tomorrow xo
