DAY 33 // Small Town Wanderers

The weekend is in full swing and Camille and I had such a stellar day. We started off at our usual spot, Cafe Aroma for some breaky and me, a massive chocolatey iced mocha. Just perfect. We wandered the streets of Bilo hitting up the usual spots to do errands like the News Agent and of course our beloved reject shop. Managed to find some supplies to make our halloween costumes..because we refuse NOT to celebrate Halloween like we would back home. (Aussies are quite lame when it comes to this awesome holiday..unfortunate.)

The Town Markets were on today so we bought some fresh produce. I bought a 2 dollar headband (see photo below) and Camille has a custom leather belt being made for her by this cute lady at the market named Erina.

Since it was another ridiculously hot day we stopped by the public pool for some laps and water aerobics in the afternoon. The highlight was making up synchronized water dance moves to Rihanna's, Rude Boy. We were getting really into it..the kids were staring.

Lastly, we did our weekly grocery shop at the shiny new IGA in town and The Thirsty Camel...splurging on some camembert cheese and red wine which we are about to indulge in.

Here are some photos I took from the wander. Half are IPhone shots and half are from my DSLR. I took photos of some of the cute houses I liked. They all have such character, my favourite is the one painted turquoise with all the plants. I want a house like that when I'm a grandma.

Happy Saturday my friends!
See you tomorrow xo
